2Falling apart after first wash.  Jan 03, 2012

I was so excited to receive this towel as a gift off of our registry. I washed it once prior to use, as recommended, and it is falling apart. The "collar" that is sewn around the towel is completely coming un-stiched and there are loose threads all over the towel. This is really too bad as it is otherwise really cute and the towel itself feels nice and thick. I would like to exchange this for a new one, but am worried about getting the same quality. Especially given the two other reviews. Perhaps I'll just return it for a refund. Bummer.

A bit expensive but a super cute towel for our 2 year old. He loves the eye patch. And it is a good size. But after only a few washes the decoration is beginning to come unstitched and fall apart. Would hope for better quality at that price.

Pricey, but so cute I had to buy it. This is soft and clever, and just what a "pirate grandmom" wants for her grandchild. It turns your wet-from-the-bath baby into such a cute buccaneer. There are certainly less expensive baby bath towels out there if you just want practicality.

This towel is a great size and my 15 month old grandson loves it. He has to see himself in the mirror every time. It is a great size and nice and thick. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because it sheds in the wash. There are little red pills all over the towel and anything else washed with it!
