I agree with the reviews by DD and MHK - a friend from the West Coast raves about these and bought me one last week. When I filled it with filtered water from a Brita pitcher, it tasted terrible. In addition, I got a weird burning sensation from the mouth piece that lingered for an hour or so. I washed it out twice with soap, and it was still the same, a foul taste to the water and a burning feeling on the lips. It also dented easily, it seems to be made of thin drink can aluminum and probably won't last long in daily use. The cap is worthless - hard to open with one hand, or even two, and it leaks no matter how tight you seal it. The carabinier clip on the cap (apparently from the Dollar Store) is the final cheap and nasty touch. I give it 1 star because there isn't a zero star rating.

I received this as a gift but would not buy one myself since, as the other reviewer already mentioned, the screw cap does not go back on easily, and on top of that the lid does not make a seal and thus the water bottle leaks, which is not very useful in a water bottle.

I bought this bottle with the hopes of refilling it daily and taking it with me in my vehicle. I noticed right away that it was difficult to get the lid to screw back on the bottle. The first time I opened the bottle, water spilled all over my lap, and the bottle wasn't tipped at all. I thought it must've been user error, so I tried again to screw the lid back on...not an easy task, especially while driving. I opened the bottle again, it dripped all over me. That night, my husband told me the same thing happened with his silver Oggi bottle. I would not recommend this product

We purchased the black aluminum sports bottle for bicyling. The finish scratches up very easily. Didn't hold up through the first use. The cheap cap is not user-friendly; you certainly can't get a drink without stopping and getting off the bike. One star is the lowest rating available, and the bottle is not even that good.
We found a much better sports bottle on clearance at a Shopko store for $1.99 and just love it. Lesson learned - high price does not always equal high quality.

Great bottles, better value than sigg. We traveled internationally and did some hiking and sight seeing and took these with us. For less than the price of one sigg we got two bottles that are effective and easy to use. No after tastes or complaints here!
