Cute little ceramic salt and pepper Scotties that are full of personality. They became a part of my Socttie Collection. They are held together by a small magnet that makes them look like they are kissing. The magnet is a small round barrell type and fits into a hole in the nose. This magnet is not glued and when you pull them apart, the magnet comes out of the hole and you have to put it back in. So, I think the manufacturer needs to improve upon their glue product. Otherwise, I would recommend, especially if you love Scotties.

I'm really just commenting on the price. I recently found this scottie dog set at a Hallmark store for only $8.99. Its not that Amazon is selling it that much more, but at times it can make a difference. Other than that, I absolutely love this set. The pair of kissing scotties are so adorable. I am a little concerned after reading the other reviewers difficulty with the magnet falling out, but I still think it makes a wonderful gift, whether for friends or for yourself :)

These are very cute and work really well. They will stick together, but I don't use them that way because I do actually use them and it would be too much trouble to always have to undo them every time I wanted to put salt on my food, or alternately add a little pepper to my eggs.

I received these as a gift and I am just in love with them. They are adorable and very colorful. The painting and finish are a great quality and apparently the manufacturer fixed the issue with the magnets reported by an earlier reviewer because mine don't come out.
