Life-like Jan 25, 2010 I really like these because they are very durable and the closest to looking like the real thing.
So life-like... So much fun! Jan 02, 2010 I looked and looked for play food that was real looking and durable. Most of the stuff you find in stores is tiny and cheap, but these foods are very life-like and made from a very durable plastic. The plastic does not have a strong awful odor like a lot of others I've looked at. They are also the same size as the real vegetables. The kids love them and I do too! GREAT VALUE!

water doodle board Dec 29, 2009 This toy is great for pre-schoolers. It uses only water in its "crayons" to produce an image, which makes it a toy that a parent need not worry over - like their walls being decorated!!!
Very realistic - my daughter loves them Dec 18, 2009 My daughter loves these and keeps trying to peal the bananna. The only problem is that the apple and the tomato look a lot alike and she gets them confused. Thease are VERY realistic looking and slightly smaller than life-size. The tomato got a dent when dropped - very realistic!

wonderful for under 3 Sep 02, 2009 So many toys that are great for young toddlers who are learning imaginitive play and are learning from what their parents are doing are labeled as 3 and over. As I mentioned in another review after purchasing the Hape kitchen these toys are labeled 3 plus, but my 19 month old is making full, safe use of them. A yolk, not large enough to swallow, broke off an egg white from the kitchen set and she said 'uh-oh' and promptly handed it over. Then you reinforce it with 'good job, thank you for showing me it is broken'. I mean, there is no reason why these realistic vinyl, SAFE and to her, the world's best toy right now should be for 3 plus. We learn colors, counting, veggie names, she sorts, she puts them in her shopping cart, she gives them to grammie, I mean, if she could go to bed with them she would.
