Although this is a cute idea, the openings/lines on the stencils are so narrow that the points of the colored pencils do not easily fit into them. This frustrates my daughter (who is almost 6 years old and LOVES to draw/color/doodle). Otherwise, in theory, it's a neat product....it just requires redesigning with wider openings in which to fit the pens/pencils/markers.

My 4 yr old daughter received this recently and is having a great time with it. She needs a little help with stenciling out the girl and the fashions, but she colors it all on her own. She is also able to use the stencils for adding decorative things to the picture like the hearts and flowers. She is very proud of her picture when she is finished. I would recommend it.

My 5yr. old daughter loves this! I bought it for her for Christmas and she uses it all the time. It is so cute. I also decided to purchase several more for birthday presents. Great for any little girl that loves to draw.

The lines on the stencil are TOO thin. You cannot use crayola pencils because they are too fat. The pencils it comes with have to be perfectly sharp to fit throught the lines, then the tips break off because you have too press too hard.

Great idea but a waste of money.

I saw this stencil set at Toys R Us for more than twice the price so I ordred it online. It is great for a four year old - the stencils are made of a thick plastic that doesnt move around much (much better for a young child than the thin plastic kind I found at Michaels).
