This product would probably be perfect for toddlers. I got this for a much OLDER friend of mine (adult age) so I can't really speak about how much fun it would be for a child. She loved it and thought the short legs were endearing. I also don't see this toy as "educational" as much as it's more for cuddling and being lovable. The material seems delicate to touch because it's so soft but the quality of the stitching was great.
